The SNC Coalition was founded in 2007 by a group of concerned citizens who were supportive of the goals of improving life in the Sequoyah County/Sallisaw area. The operations of the SNC coalition are funded through a SPF-SIG grant given to Cherokee Nation by the federal government. SNC operates through elected community officers which serve on the board to help provide and encourage leadership throughout the coalition and community.
